r kelly is literally holding minors against their will to sexually abuse them and this just adds on to the power male celebrities abuse when it comes to sexual violence. there have been major red flag about his obsession with minors for over DECADE and some of ya’ll still continued to brush it off and support him as an artist. we have to stop letting these men get a free pass just because they sing your favorite bop or star in your favorite movie. it just makes the victims look like they’re not even worthy of the support and trust they deserve and that shit is not okay 

and to make factors even worse, the parents of these victims haven’t seen their daughters in over a year because of this sick fuck. these girls gave this man their trust but instead he took advantage of them. he locked them in his house and disallows them to even leave their “rooms” without permission.  if they even try to escape he abuses them physically and verbally. he was keeping these girls captive. let me repeat that, an R&B singer a lot of people support kept young girls captive in his house for over a year! this isn’t just sexual abuse, but this is kidnapping in one of its worst forms. so please stop supporting this man, he doesn’t even deserve an ounce of the support and forgiveness people have been giving him for years. 

R Kelly has always been a predator. I don’t know why people are surprised, he married Aaliyah when she was a teenager. And then the whole sex tape scandal with that underage girl. People KNOW R Kelly ain’t shit and yet people continue to support him. Just like with Chris Brown people just don’t care about the victims of these men.
