Damn like I was rly considering donating to u until I read that your donation funds go to things like electrolysis... like bitch luxury cosmetic procedures are not something you should be spending your donation money on. Go buy a razor like the rest of us.
Buy a razor? What? Who is “us”??? Ectrolysis isn’t a “luxury cosmetic procedure” it’s apart of trans related health care. It’s medically required to get electrolysis on our genitalia before sex reassignment surgery. Also it’s not as simple as buying a straight razor and shaving that simple does not work for my skin like a lot of other black folks. We can’t just take a razor to our faces and go ham we WILL get ingrown hairs all over the areas we shave and are a bitch to get rid of. Having bumps all over your face is a quick way to get “clocked” if your a black trans woman and that’s never fun.
Doesn’t look fun does it?
This is something I’ve been dealing with most of my adult life and all the girls who actually know me know how hard I struggle with this ESPECIALLY considering the kind of work I get offered which always heavily involves my apperance and theirs nothing worse than me crying on set in the bathroom cause I shaved my face for the shoot and now I have puss filled razor bumps all over face I have to cover with makeup. I’m just trying to get through but I can’t do that if I don’t have the care I need to do the things I’d normally be able to do if I didn’t have gender dysphoria.
Society tells us we have to look a certain way in order to navigate the world as women and it punishes those who don’t so no none of the procedures that trans women get to help them lessen their dysphoria so they can lead productive lives is “cosmetic” it’s life changing for many and helps us survive.
Shits not even that pricey I’m just broke! The lady who does mine only charges a dollar a minute and we do it for an hour every two weeks. So if anyone wants to help me out with transition related cost that Includes Electrolysis which is the only permanent hair removal procedure which would make presenting as the gender I identify with much much easier please donate to my PayPal or Cashapp

…this can happen if you try to shave & you have sensitive skin along with conditions like acne, psoriasis, or eczema. You can also have problems with shaving if you have immune problems that affect skin like SLE. Many of these conditions are genetic and occur more in certain ethnic populations, and can be WORSENED by HORMONES. So yeah, OP *NEEDS* this treatment. Calling things “cosmetic” happens with ALL KINDS of transition treatments, and is wrong.
